About This Event

We’ve often heard from people who have moved to Kusatsu Town that
they would like to deepen their connections with others or join networking events.
That’s why we created “Kusatsu Onsen Newcomers’ Night”!

This time, with the generous support of Anzai Shoten,
we will be hosting a sake tasting workshop featuring local Gunma sake!

Whether you enjoy sake, want to connect with others over drinks,
are interested in learning how to choose sake in the future,
or simply enjoy creating something—this event is for you ^^

We look forward to receiving your application!

Who Can Join

Anyone who fits at least one of the following:

People originally from Kusatsu
People who have moved to Kusatsu
People working in Kusatsu
People who want to build connections in Kusatsu
People who enjoy drinking alcohol
People who enjoy or want time to immerse themselves in something

Schedule

The event will be facilitated by the coworking space community manager,
so even if you join alone, you can feel at ease!

Introduction & Participant Introductions

Opening remarks by the host and participant introductions.

19:00–19:40

Guess the Sake! Tasting Workshop

Taste several local sake varieties with hidden labels and try to guess which is which using hints. A fun way to put your taste into words and learn more about sake.

19:40–20:10

Create Your Own Original Label

Choose your favorite sake from the tasting and design a label for it. Enjoy sharpening your intuition while sipping sake.

20:10–20:40

Networking Time

A free time to mingle, switch seats, and share snacks you’ve brought while connecting with other participants.

Kusatsu Onsen Coworking: Office

Opened in February 2024, this is the first coworking space in Kusatsu Onsen. Located a 3-minute walk from Yubatake and near Otaki no Yu.
It welcomes many business professionals visiting from urban areas for workations.
A quiet workspace with Wi-Fi and power outlets, it also serves as a hub for remote work and交流 among people who have moved to Kusatsu.
